Bento Day 4 - Playful Puppy Bento

Today's bento took me about 7 minutes to make, 10 minutes tops. Quite a record actually. I wasn't able to get up early to make a bento. I also had no idea what to make for today's bento, so everything was out of whim and very simple, the concept just even popped out of my head. Not planned at all. Today's Bento Menu: Cheese Stuffed Onigiri Century Tuna Octodogs (fail) Various shabu shabu meats Chopped Green Olive Tamagoyaki My cheese stuffed onigiri is just actually plain rice with bits of cheese inside. Didn't have the time to sear the rice, let alone flavor it. I was so lacking in time. My proteins for today aren't really healthy, unless you consider the fact that the octodogs are made out of tuna hot dogs. The shabu shabu meats are left overs fro last night's shabu shabu dinner. Revampimg my new Craft Nook: Phase 1

 We moved back to my parents' place immediately after I gave birth to my darling baby girl. So far it is one of the best decisions we have made as a family! Moving houses means a new craft nook layout, I was pretty nervous about how I'll set up my craft nook, especially my video rig, because the last time we stayed here, we were staying in the smallest room. Back then it was enough for our small family. That was also back when my craft stash was really small. Noq, my parents let us stay in my childhood room that I used to share with my sister. I love it because it's the 3rd (or maybe 2nd) largest room in the house. The down side is, we can't remove the big, old TV cabinet and bookshelf, which means we dont really have that much space working for us because our bed is humongous. In the end, I settled for using the small bookshelf as our cabinet. Some parts of the TV cabinet are being used for our clothes, baby things and craft storage. I placed my table in one ...

Missing President I woke up this morning to the angry voice of the am radio news caster of DZXL RMN-Manila. He was so angry that President Gloria Arroyo was out of the country on the day that typhoon Frank hit the Philippines with very strong winds and rains. He ranted that while the Filipino people are suffering, Pres. Arroyo was out talking to "Uncle Sam", as he said. Sheesh, he's such a pain in the ear. Imagine waking up to his close mindedness. It's not like the president could have foreseen that the damage would be that bad. How was she to know that a ship will still sail despite the bad weather. It's not like she intentionally left the country to avoid the typhoon. Meetings with heads of countries are scheduled waaaaay ahead of the target date. Besides, even if she wanted to come back immediately to the Philippines, she can't 'cause airports are closed and even if she has a special landing strip; the risk to her life is so great.
